Brazoswood German Students Place in Top 5 at Houstonfest

Congratulations to Morgann Cooper and the Brazoswood German students for placing in the top 5 at Houstonfest! Houstonfest, usually hosted by a high school in the Houston area was held virtually this year on February 6th. Events were either pre-recorded or took place over Zoom. Students placing in the top 5 at Houstonfest advanced to the state competition that occurred Saturday, February 27th.

This year there were around 165 students who completed from 13 different High Schools in the Houston and surrounding areas. In a regular year, pre-COVID, there are over 20 schools and 500 students who complete. Many schools chose not to participate this year for a variety of reasons, but our students at Brazoswood did not let the competition being held virtually deter them. Great job!
