Brazoswood Student Earns Overall Best Speaker Award in UIL Contest
Brazoswood High School student Katie Fiedler earned the award Overall Best Speaker at the El Campo UIL Speech & Debate Contest on Saturday, January 18th. Katie entered four events, not only making it to the final round of each of the four events, but she placed placed in each of them!
1st place Novice LD Debate (undefeated in all rounds!)
1st place Novice Extemporaneous Speaking
1st place Impromptu
3rd place Original Oratory
Katie had a long, busy day Saturday, but her hard work, tenacity, and talent paid off.
