2024 Brazoswood Science Olympiad Team Takes 3rd at Regionals
The Brazoswood Science Olympiad Team was the third place ranking school at the recent regional competition at Texas A&M - Corpus Christi on February 24, 2024. Brazoswood’s team received medals in 17 of the events. Consistent high placement in a variety of scientific areas of study is what it takes to make it to the State Competition and these kids certainly did that!
The first place team at Regionals is guaranteed a spot at State while the 2nd-4th place teams have a strong probability of earning a spot to compete. We look forward to seeing this group take their skills to the next level at the state competition, which will be held on April 19-20, 2024 at Texas A&M, College Station. Congratulations to the students and their coaches Terry Allen Heckart and assistant Cynthia Schreiner! Special thanks to James Weaver who is available for technical advice to students.
