Two Brazoswood Students Advance to State HOSA Competition in April
On February 16-17th, Brazoswood took 16 HOSA students to the Robert Turner College & Career High School to compete in the Area 2 Spring Leadership Conference. Advancing to state are Amanda Price, 1st place in Nutrition Knowledge and Serena Martinez, 1st place in Clinical Nursing. To advance to the state level students had to place in the top 3 in their event.

Clinical Nursing - 4th place Kimberlyn Rumsey
Medical Assisting - 5th place Larissa Kidd
Researched Persuasive Writing and Speaking - 7th place Jeremiah Quintana
Job Seeking Skills - 7th place Valeria Marquez
Sara Ennis, HOSA sponsor said she was, “So proud of all of our students who devoted their free time to studying and practicing after school to prepare for their competitive event.”
