Jeffrey Sims and Anthony McBride Selected to High School Aerospace Scholars Program with NASA
Congratulations are in order for two Brazoswood High School students who recently found out they were accepted to the High School Aerospace Scholars program with NASA. Jeffrey Sims and Anthony McBride, both 11th grade students in Mr. Hobbs Rockets-1 class, have been accepted into the program that offers several exciting opportunities during the school year.
According to the High School Aerospace Scholars website these opportunities include:

Interactive lessons on NASA activities related to space exploration, earth science, technology and aeronautics

Design challenges such as 3D drawing, video creation, interactive poster design

Virtual chats with NASA engineers and scientists
Also as part of the program, Jeffrey and Anthony will be invited to NASA this summer for a week of more great hands-on learning experiences.
