HOSA Students Advance to State Competition
Brazoswood has some exciting news from the Area 2 Health Occupations Student of America (HOSA) Spring Conference & Competition. With over 1,400 students competing in Area 2 Friday and Saturday, January 27 & 28, Brazoswood has 4 students who placed in the top 3 of their event and will advance to Texas State HOSA Leadership Conference March 31-April 2 in Corpus Christi, Texas. These students will compete against the top 3 competitors or teams from each of the 7 Areas in Texas.
The mission of HOSA is to “enhance the delivery of compassionate, quality healthcare by providing opportunities for knowledge, skill and leadership development of all health science education students, therefore, helping the student meet the needs of the healthcare community”.
We are so proud of the hard work from ALL of our students who competed this year for our HOSA chapter!
