Culinary CTE Team Takes 1st at Annual Competition
The Culinary Institute LeNotre held it's 4th Annual High School Chopped competition on Friday, February 22 in Houston, Texas. Brazoswood had six students compete, three seniors and three juniors creating two teams. Team One was Senior Daniel Sustaita, and Juniors Kylee Wagner and Ayanna Dunlap. Team Two were Seniors Maira Sulin, Ricardo Obando and Junior Andrea Davis. The students had to create a dish using chicken breast, peas, honey and lemon. Both teams represented BISD well with Team Two placing first in the competition.
