Buc Wrestlers Continue Success at Armbar Invitational
Brazoswood wrestlers came in 2nd place Saturday, January 19th at the Armbar Invitational in League City, Texas. Two Buccaneer wrestlers claimed 1st place in their weight classification. Brayden Gilstrap and Damion Estrada both took the top honor.
Also bringing home medals were:
Derek Cole - 2nd in Class
Triston Ewald - 3rd in Class
Fernando San Miguel - 3rd in Class
Luc Nguyen- 3rd in Class
The Armbar Invitational was preceded by the annual Woodshed Invitational hosted at Brazoswood High School. The Buc wrestlers dominated the tournament with 28 decisive wins. Four wrestlers went undefeated; Braden Gilstrap-182 pound class; Derek Cole-220 pound class; Nathanael Reyna-126 pound class and Kyle Armstrong-132 pound class.
