Game Schedule


Both Brazoswood High School water polo teams continue their impressive playoff runs, advancing to the Region Quarterfinals following decisive victories in the Bi-District and Area rounds last week.
In the Bi-District round, our Lady Bucs defeated Clear Lake by a score of 18 to 11. The Lady Bucs scored on their first ten possessions of the game led by Hope Kadlecik’s 4 assists, Jaycie Fort (3 goals), Larissa Bracken (2 goals, 2 assists), Therese Braun (2 goals, 1 assist), Kesleigh Corn (1 goal, 1 assist), Clara Bracken (1 goal), Cora Albarran (1 goal). Defensively, the Lady Bucs were led by sisters’ Clara Bracken (4 steals) and Larissa Bracken (3 steals). Claire Crisp had a great first half in the goal with 3 blocks and allowing only 2 goals leading to a ten goal lead at halftime and a score of 12 to 2.
The Bucs won their B-District game over Clear Brook 22 to 6 with seniors Kasen Corn (3 goal, assists, Luke Mixon (3 goals, 1 assist), and Brady James (2 goals, 2 assists) leading the way offensively. Defensively, the Bucs were led by goalie, Daniel Lupher (4 blocks, 1 steal) and the field play of Kasen Corn (5 steals), and Brady James (4 steals) to get the Bucs out front 14 to 3 at halftime.
In the Area Round, the Lady Bucs defeated LaPorte 23 to 5. The Lady Bucs had a balanced attack led by Sophomores Annabell Sawyer and Cooper Dane each with 5 goals in the game. Emma Meservy led the team in assists with 4 while Sophia Guajardo had 3.
The Bucs defeated LaPorte in their Area Round game by a score of 23 to 5 with a balanced attack as well with Jacob Weisel leading the team with 4 goals & 2 assists.
Region Quarter final games will be Tuesday, October 14th at Friendswood High School Natatorium. Both teams will be playing Clear Creek with the chance to advance to the Region Championships at Houston Lamar Natatorium. Region Semifinals will be on Friday, October 17, and Region Championships on Saturday, October 18, 2025.
