Brazoswood Buc Wrestlers Claim District Title and Advance 17 to Region
Congratulations Brazoswood wrestlers and Coach Roberts Jr. on another District 12-6A championship. Brazoswood reclaimed the title after coming close the last few years. When the District Meet at Clear Falls High School was over, Brazoswood had 5 district titles and 17 advancing as regional qualifiers.
The Bucs won four weight class divisions and qualified a total of 10 wrestlers to the Region 3-6A Championship Meet February 7-8, 2025 at the Merrell Center in Katy, Texas.
The Lady Bucs took 3rd place and will be represented at the Region Meet by 7 wrestlers.
Congratulations to Coach Roberts Jr. on being named District Coach of the Year, Coach Frank Soto on being named District Assistant Coach of the Year and on the legacy of champions being built in the Brazoswood wrestling arena.
