SAT INFORMATION FOR STUDENTS AND PARENTS

Brazoswood school day SAT for juniors will be held on Wednesday, March 6th from 7:30-11:51.  Students that have signed up to take this test will need to arrive to campus no later than 7:30 a.m.  Room assignments will be posted a few days before the exam.

Listed below is information to prepare for this exam.

All students should have received a study guide. If not, they can pick one up in room 9-211 on the 9th grade campus.

Students will be able to send scores to at least four eligible colleges, universities, or scholarships.

Students can find answers to general questions about the SAT and what to expect on test day at sat.org

Students can access practice guides and Khan Academy for free at satpractice.org

Testing will not affect lunches. All students will attend their normal lunch times.

What to bring to the test

#2 pencils – No pens or mechanical pencils

Acceptable calculator – Brazoswood will have calculators available (TI inspire CX)

School ID

What not to bring to the test

Cell phones, smart watches, or any other electronic device

Highlighters, rulers, earplugs, pens, dictionaries, or scratch paper

Scores typically will take eight weeks to come in. If you wish to view your scores online, you will need to create an account at www.collegeboard.org. You may have to call College Board in order to have school day test scores merged to the account you created. Please visit the College Board website to contact SAT.
