Buc Wrestler Earns Spot on Winner Platform
The Brazoswood wrestling team is making it’s mark already as a top team in the region and the Bucs have a top individual wrestler in the state again this year. Recently the team participated in 2 tournaments held in the Houston area.
Last weekend the team joined 28 teams from all across the state of Texas and even a team from Louisiana in the prestigious Woodlands Invitational. This contest is one of the largest in Texas.
Making the award platform was Jose Acosta Ruiz taking 2nd and Josue Garza who took 5th.
Previously, the weekend of November 18th, the team travelled to Clear Falls where the team took 1st place out of 8 teams competing. The individual results are below in each weight class:
