Brazosport ISD schools will remain closed this week and through Labor Day. Classes are currently scheduled to resume Tuesday, September 5. We will continue to monitor the weather and update you as more information becomes available. Updates will be communicated on our website, through SchoolMessenger and on social media. UPDATE 8-25: After receiving weather updates today, BISD will be closed on Monday 8/28. We will continue to monitor the weather and make decisions about beyond Monday as we see Harvey's pathway. Further communications will be sent out later.

UPDATE 8-24: Based on the latest information regarding tropical storm Harvey, BISD has decided to close school Friday, August 25, 2017 to allow families time to prepare. A decision for Monday will be made no later than 5:00 p.m. Sunday. Updates will be communicated on our website, SchoolMessenger (callout system), Facebook/Twitter. School closures will also be communicated on all major Houston area tv news stations. Thank you and please stay safe!
Due to Hurricane Harvey and the impending weather heading in our direction - these are the current Brazoswood plans:
1. WE WILL MOVE THE PEP RALLY TO NEXT FRIDAY - SEPTEMBER 1
2. FRIDAY, August 25, IS NOW A NORMAL SCHOOL BELL DAY (weather permitting)-please notify your students who have late arrival
