Brazoswood TAFE Students Qualify for State Competition

Brazoswood students who are members of the Texas Association of Future Educators (TAFE) participated in the Regional Competition last month, earning top honors and advancing to the state level!

These students competed in a variety of events focused on teaching, leadership, and professional development. Through hands-on coursework and their involvement in TAFE, they developed essential skills such as lesson planning, communication, and collaboration. By participating in the regional competition, they applied what they learned in the classroom to real-world scenarios, gaining valuable experience and confidence as they prepare for future careers in education.

We are so proud to announce that the following students are State Qualifiers!

Brazoswood High School, under the instruction of Cameron Peters and Mary Ashley Jimenez:

  • Ana Rivera - JV Children's Lit K-3 Spanish

  • Rosie Rios - Varsity Children's Lit K-3 Spanish

  • Allie Cahoon - JV Interactive Bulletin Board

  • Michelle Ebey - Varsity Lesson Planning and Delivery in STEM & Public Speaking

  • Mati Pena & Cira Martinez - Varsity Interactive Bulletin Board

Brazoswood congratulates all of these outstanding students for their hard work and dedication. We wish them the best as they represent our district at state and continue pursuing their passion for education.
