TCEA State 3D Design Competition
Brazoswood Students Win 2nd in TCEA State 3D Design Competition
Brazoswood stands out again this year as having one of the top Engineering Design teams in the state. The Brazoswood Engineering team participated in the TCEA 3D Design Contest where they were challenged with designing a product to improve a weather-related problem. The Brazoswood team created "Grass Guardian", a biodegradable planting spike that helps stop erosion due to flooding. The students used OnShape, a 3D design tool, to model the product and they printed several prototypes with a 3D printer. They also produced a one minute commercial.
Congratulations on using the engineering process to create a winning design.
