Brazoswood Takes 2nd in FTC Robotics League Meet

The Brazoswood Robotics Team competed this past Saturday at Palacios High School in the First Tech Challenge (FTC) robotic competition claiming 2nd place. There were a total of 13

7th-12th grade teams competing at the meet, each battling in five rounds.

The project task for this competition was to autonomously descend from a “Martian Lander” and deploy a team mascot to claim the team’s territory. They had to detect, identify and sort objects representing minerals into a “cargo hold” and end the match by lifting the robot back onto the lander.

Congratulations to the Brazoswood Team and their sponsor Mr. Brad Whitehead.
